CANDY CHRISTMAS IN MEDIA SPOTLIGHT THIS FALL
NASHVILLE, Tenn.—On the heels of the recent release of her first new recording in seven years, On The Other Side, and new book, On The Other Side: Life-Changing Stories From Under The Bridge, award-winning gospel artist Candy Christmas is being spotlighted by numerous national and international media outlets this fall.
On November 11, Christmas will appear on Daystar Television Network’s live morning program, “Celebration," and will be a live guest on USA Radio Network’s “DayBreak USA” November 12. She will also travel to Toronto for a November 23 appearance on “100 Huntley Street," which airs throughout Canada and the United States.
In addition, Christmas and The Bridge Ministry, which she founded in 2004 to serve Nashville’s homeless community, will be the subject of features in multiple leading Christian publications this fall. HomeLife and Homecoming magazines include excerpts from On The Other Side: Life-Changing Stories From Under The Bridge in their latest issues, while the Fall/Holiday issue of life: beautiful features an extensive story on Christmas’ work with the homeless. Other upcoming coverage includes the December digital issue of CCM Magazine.
Hailing from southern gospel’s legendary Hemphill family, Christmas is an acclaimed solo artist who has been featured in 23 Gaither Homecoming videos and has performed at numerous Gaither concert events. Since 2004, her Bridge Ministry has served countless meals and conducted church services every Tuesday night under the Jefferson Street Bridge in downtown Nashville. Christmas also founded the Food For Kids program, which provides food to underprivileged school children in the Nashville area.
