Featured Stories & Videos, Winter Jam, Live Events and Strong Music Industry Release Schedule Helps Propel the Site to New Record.

Nashville, TN – HearItFirst.com, the leading online presence for the Christian music and entertainment fan, set a new record for visits and traffic in the month of January 2011.  According to Google Analytics, the site has received over 500,000 total visits and over 350,000 unique visits in the first month of 2011.

Mark Adkison, founder and President, attributed the site’s growth to several factors: “We have had amazing partnerships and content this month.  From tours to video premieres, free downloads to live chats and talkbacks, January’s events provided the perfect set up to continue driving traffic not just to HearItFirst and keep visitors' attention.”

Right away in 2011, Winter Jam, the nation’s largest Christian music tour started their first quarter run and HearItFirst.com came on as the official website for the tour at HearItFirst.com/WinterJam or JamTour.com.  Amazing contests were kicked off like “Spiff Your Space” with partners Novo Ink and Winter Jam, and the “Direct Francesca Battistelli’s Next Live Music Video” contest with Word Entertainment.  The site also premiered and streamed music from Brandon Heath’s new release “Leaving Eden” and new albums from Josh Wilson, Luminate and Red.  HearItFirst.com conducted a live video chat and talkback session with Mark Lowry about his new DVD release “Unplugged & Unplanned,” and featured the music video premiere of NewSong’s “One True God.”  Each week continues to feature a free download in the newsletter in addition to exclusive video interviews with BarlowGirl, Matthew West, and Hawk Nelson just to name a few.

Jamie Wilson, HearItFirst.com’s Director of Content adds, “In the coming months the content flow continues its record setting pace with videos from Shawn McDonald, Know Hope Collective, Echoing Angels and the premiere of the new music video from newsboys, “Miracles.”  We will also host several live events on HearItFirst.com including a Hawk Nelson in-studio performance and talkback session for their new release Crazy Love, The 41st Annual Dove Awards Nominee Press Conference live from Atlanta’s Fox Theatre, Winter Jam Live Concert webcast and much more.”
