The Artist that Brought Us "While I'm Waiting" from the Movie "Fireproof" Gains Traction with Personal Appearances, Stellar Reviews
Nashville, Tenn. (May 3, 2011) - John Waller's eagerly anticipated enhanced CD, As For Me and My House, releases today through City of Peace Media and Provident-Integrity Distribution. Waller, who co-produced the CD, is celebrating the release at American Family Radio's "John Waller As For Me And My House All Day CD Release Party," where he is scheduled to open the day by leading staff devotions in the morning. Then, he will appear live in the studio all day long on shows such as "JJ & Ron in the Morning," "Mid-days with Meeke Addison," "The John Riley Afternoon Show," and "Focal Point with Bryan Fischer." Waller will also appear on the AFR Talk Network and will perform an acoustic set that will be featured online.

"We are so excited to have John Waller in the studio with us all day long — it will be a special day!" says John Riley, radio host and On-air Promotions Music Director for American Family Radio. "John is an incredible songwriter and vocalist, but As For Me and My House is so much more than a music project. It really goes to the heart of where we are as a country and as families — we need the message he's got 'for such a time as this.'"

The popular recording artist who touched the world with his song, "While I'm Waiting" from the motion picture, "Fireproof," is back with a brand new collection of scripture-based songs and declaration-style anthems designed to inspire listeners to fight the good fight of faith. As For Me and My House has already generated stellar reviews from national Christian media.

Jay Heilman, Jr., founder and webmaster at christianmusicreview.org, calls As For Me and My House a career defining album for Waller. "I am beyond moved by this album!" Heilman declares. "The Lord is using this song/album to remind us that we're to lay our idols down and choose today — not tomorrow, but today — to serve the Lord within our houses with our lives, our families and all of our being. Listen, be inspired and be prepared to move!"

NewReleaseTuesday.com calls John Waller "...one of the most relatable artists I've ever heard," and says As For Me and My House "... is a great adult contemporary worship album. If you like Steven Curtis Chapman, Casting Crowns and MercyMe, then you should really enjoy John Waller."

As For Me and My House continues to gain traction with fans and critics alike as Waller and his music are scheduled to be featured by such prominent Christian media as CCM, JCTV's "1 Music Village," Christianitytoday.com, hearitfirst.com, Focus on the Family, Campus Crusade for Christ, Sid Roth's "It's Supernatural!," GospelMusicChannel.com, NewReleaseTuesday.com, christianmusicreview.org and more.

Waller first captured the attention of the Christian music community as frontman for the pop band According to John. But the talented Georgia native laid his aspirations for a career as a performing artist aside when he and his wife Josee felt led to move to Colorado to help establish a new church. Songs that were birthed in John during that time opened new doors for the worship leader, and his major label debut, The Blessing, introduced Waller's music to a wider audience. His follow-up solo project included the powerful title track, "While I'm Waiting," the theme song from "Fireproof," the No. 1 independent film of 2008.

Waller has long been known for injecting heavy doses of scripture into his songs, and As For Me And My House is no exception. He draws on Joshua 24:15 to boldly proclaim the Word of God to this generation through a rich variety of musical styles ranging from tender, heartfelt prayers like "Somebody Else's Story," to poignant ballads like "Man of the Valley," to his trademark declaration anthems like the impassioned spiritual warfare battle cry "Our God Reigns Here" and "Bless Us and Keep Us," both of which express God's heart for Israel.

"Yes" continues Waller's assertion that God is good and His plans for His children are positive, yet he also addresses the seeming dichotomy of bad things happening to good people in "Because God is Good," a song Waller co-wrote with Third Day frontman Mac Powell and the album's co-producer, Jason Hoard.

The title track highlights the album's theme of declaring our allegiance to God. The music video version of "As For Me and My House" has already started to go viral, with more than 35,000 views on YouTube within a few weeks of its release. To view the video, visit johnwallermusic.com.

More than just the title of an album, John Waller wants Joshua 24:15 — "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" — to become a heart's cry for individuals and families across the country and the world. In the hope that it will help restore our focus back to family values, he is offering the song as a free download to those who sign the Joshua 24:15 Declaration on his website, johnwallermusic.com.
