West Middlesex, Pa. (May 18, 2011) - Hope-Inspired eyewear company Eyes of Faith Optical has announced that more than 100 eye care professionals nationwide have signed on to carry the VeggieTales by Eyes of Faith line of children's eyewear, an indication many leaders in the optical industry are embracing a unique combination of style, substance and hope.
As an official licensee of VeggieTales, Eyes of Faith has produced stylish frames with familiar VeggieTales themed patterns and colors, and with the message "God made you special" inside each temple. The frames are child-friendly and are made of durable memory metal with spring hinges.
"We really believe we've tapped into something very special," said Jim Schneider, president and founder of Eyes of Faith Optical. "Children love the colors, styles and characters, and for parents, VeggieTales means faith-based values and meaningful lessons in a creative package. We provide hope-inspired eyewear and when you combine Eyes of Faith style and quality with the VeggieTales brand, you have something very attractive for both children and parents."
"Eyes of Faith makes quality products and it's one of the key reasons we partnered with them in our first foray into the children's eyewear industry," said Brian Mitchell, Director, Marketing & Licensing, Big Idea Entertainment. "We're happy to be associated with a company that holds the same passion to influence children with a positive message of hope and family values."
