Robert E. Person To Appear On Babbie Mason's TV Show

(Washington, DC) - November 6, 2011 - Gospel Balladeer Robert E. Person has been hitting the road to promote his third inspirational release entitled Soul Sanctuary.  He recently traveled to Atlanta to be a guest on Babbie's House.  The show, the brainchild of Christian vocalist Babbie Mason (pictured with Person), highlights the talents of many national recording artists.  On the program, Person got a chance to sit down with Mason to talk about his career and give two powerful performances.  The show will air on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 4PM EST in Atlanta on WATC-TV 57 and will stream live at www.watc.tv.

Person is currently in rehearsals for Langston Hughes' play, Black Nativity.  The musical, featuring gospel, R&B and jazz, as well as other genres, tells the Christmas story from an Afro-centric perspective.  The play will take place at the H Street Playhouse (1365 H St., NE, Washington, DC 20002 - 202. 396.2125) and will run previews on Saturday, December 3rd and Sunday, December 4th with the official opening beginning Monday, December 5, 2011 through Saturday, December 31, 2011.  Tickets can be purchased on the venue's website at www.theateralliance.com.


The award-winning gospel crooner who has backed artists such as George Benson, Karen Clark Sheard, and J Moss, is known for his stunning rendition of Donny Hathaway's "Someday We'll All Be Free", available on the artist's latest release.  He will be signing copies of the new project on Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 2-4PM at the Potomac Adventist Book & Health Food Store (12004 Cherry Hill Rd., Silver Spring, MD 20904 - 301.572.0700).  Fans of the artist will be able to purchase their own copy of the highly-lauded CD and meet the singer in person.
