Nashville, Tenn - 11 January 2012 – Jon Bauer, an award-winning Canadian worship artist and songwriter, just released his fourth worship album, Forevermore, in the U.S. on January 3rd. The project, which originally released in Canada last May, is Bauer’s U.S. debut.
Bauer, a worship leader who travels around his native country and worldwide with his music ministry, is also slated to open for Michael W. Smith during a Canadian run this coming May. Kicking off May 3rd and running through the 17th, the tour will make 11 stops across Canada.
About Jon Bauer:
Bauer is a five-time nominee for 2011's GMA Canada's Covenant Awards and was named MAJA Awards’ “Male Artist of the Year” in 2008 and “New Artist of the Year” in 2007 for the SHAI Award (People’s Choice). Bauer has also stormed the Canadian Christian radio charts, having topped the charts along with receiving numerous other radio accolades.
With his January 3rd U.S. release of Forevermore, produced by 2010’s Dove-Award winning producer Rusty Varenkamp (Tenth Avenue North, Meredith Andrews), the project is comprised of ten songs, eight written or co-written by Bauer. “My heart is to encourage people that worship is more than music,” he shares. “It’s a lifestyle, and it’s a choice. We need to look for ways to serve God and serve others, representing Him to this hurting world.”
Forevermore is already seeing success around the world as Bauer has recently shared his new songs on tour around Europe, Canada and the States. His single, “Chasing After Me,” hit No. 1 on the Canadian Christian Charts, and Forevermore released to iTunes on Oct. 11. The album, already available on iTunes, made its debut on iTunes' New and Noteworthy section of the Christian homepage.
Bauer continues his versatility as an artist by recently releasing his second children’s album. Titled Come And Save Us Kids Worship: Volume 2, the project just released November 15th. Please visit the following links for the most updated information:
