(March 7, 2012) - City of Peace Media recording artist Jordan Elias participated during the 2012 National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Convention, held Feb. 18-22, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. Elias was at the convention to discuss his current CD, Desert Cry, as well as talk about his upcoming project, which is being produced by his City of Peace Media labelmate John Waller.
"I had a great time at NRB this year," Elias says. "It was an opportunity to not only connect with fellow City of Peace Media artists, but also with artists from many different places."
Thousands of Christian broadcasters, programmers, ministers and others participated in the convention, which is presented annually by the National Religious Broadcasters.
Elias met with various media representatives to share information about his upcoming CD, slated for release later this year. Waller, who is a 2012 Dove Award nominee, is producing, with critically-acclaimed guitarist and City of Peace artist Sean Spicer playing on the record.

About Jordan Elias:
If there is such a thing as a music gene, Jordan Elias has it. A third generation music industry progeny, Elias traces his musical heritage back to his grandfather, legendary Motown producer Jerry Marcellino, who helmed projects for such superstars as Michael Jackson and The Jackson 5, Diana Ross and The Supremes, Lionel Ritchie and The Commodores, Al Jarreau, Bobby Darin and Smokey Robinson. Jordan's father, Yochanan Marcellino, cut his teeth in the music industry and went on to found several successful record labels, including Kerygma Records, Galilee of the Nations Music and City of Peace Media.
With the release of his debut project, Desert Cry, Elias proves the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The CD was named one of Gospelmusicchannel.com's Top 10 rock albums of 2010 on a list that includes offerings from both Christian and mainstream artists, including Newsboys, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Future of Forestry, John Mellencamp, Ivoryline, The Choir, Chris August, Ed Kowalczyk and House of Heroes.
Elias also is a featured artist on several recent projects: One New Man: Worship: Israel, a collection of worship music from the land of Israel, and Promise Keepers: City Transformation Worship.
Elias currently is in the studio working on a new 2012 project which is being produced by John Waller.
