EVANGELIST NICK HALL’S PULSE MOVEMENT TO HELP ‘UNITE’ TWIN CITIES ON NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
Hall To Be Featured On OneCry Prayer Summit National Radio Event
MINNEAPOLIS— The PULSE Movement, one of the fastest growing youth outreach initiatives in America founded by evangelist Nick Hall, will join with other Twin Cities ministries and churches to present the second annual UNITE National Day of Prayer gathering May 3 at 7pm at the University of Minnesota Mariucci Arena in Minneapolis.
In observance of the National Day of Prayer, UNITE will feature a message from Hall, as well as music from reigning GMA New Artist of the Year Jamie Grace and acclaimed worship band Leeland. Free and open to the public, the event will also be streamed live at www.unitendop.com. Last year’s inaugural gathering drew more than 4,000 total participants via on-site attendance and online streaming.
“We are calling all generations and those from all backgrounds to come together for a night of prayer and worship, seeking Jesus for the spiritual awakening we so desperately need today," says Hall. “The Twin Cities is one of the youngest metropolitan areas in America, at a time when our nation is witnessing the least-churched and most biblically-illiterate generation in its history. We need God to turn the tide.”
Throughout the evening, leaders from churches and other Christian institutions across the Minneapolis-St. Paul area will direct attendees in focused times of prayer. Bethel University, Bethlehem Baptist Church, Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU), Catalyst, Mom’s In Prayer International, and 95.3 Praise FM, among other Twin Cities ministries have partnered with the PULSE Movement to present this second annual UNITE National Day of Prayer gathering.
Hall will also be a featured participant in the OneCry Prayer Summit, a live, nationwide radio event beginning on the National Day of Prayer and continuing throughout the month. Hosted by Moody Radio with a focus on prayer for revival and spiritual awakening within the North American church, listeners will be able to engage via live chat and social media. Additional OneCry Prayer Summit participants include Rick Warren, Francis Chan, Nancy Leigh DeMoss and Dr. Erwin Lutzer, among other influential Christian leaders.
Hall birthed the PULSE Movement in 2006 as a student at North Dakota State University. The student-led initiative has since spread to over 30 college campuses and dozens of communities across the nation and is one of the fastest growing youth evangelistic movements in America. PULSE encompasses student prayer gatherings, evangelism training, outreach events, and PULSE RESET, an extensive post-outreach follow-up process.
One of the emerging Christian leaders of this generation, Hall was the featured speaker on the Winter Jam 2012 Tour Spectacular, the #1 tour in the world for the first quarter. He is also a partner evangelist with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) and the Luis Palau Association through festivals and training events. Hall emceed three BGEA “Rock the River Tour” events last year, and in 2010 was among 4,000 international delegates invited to attend The Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization in Cape Town, South Africa.
