Little Rock, AR (November 16, 2012) – In the midst of National Adoption Month, Arkansas-based non-profit, PROJECT ZERO, is pleased to release its very first benefit project, Grafted, aimed at raising awareness and funding for adoption within the foster care system. Produced by Jason Truby (Living Sacrifice, P.O.D.), the album features top award-winning artists from around the country as well as a few favorites local to Arkansas. Grafted is available now and can be purchased through iTunes and on the organization’s website, www.theprojectzero.org.
Christie Erwin, co-executive director elaborates: “Grafted is a collaboration between Project Zero and artist/producer Jason Truby, born out of the need to raise awareness about the over 120,000 deserving children right here in the United States who are in foster care waiting for a forever family. We are indebted to the fourteen artists who have given their time and talents to bring Grafted to life!”

Project Zero, a 501c-3 non-profit, aims to raise awareness about adoption through the Arkansas state foster care system with the ultimate goal of finding a forever family for every child that is waiting. With the motto, 1+1=0 (one child + one family = zero waiting), the organization works with the community to provide life-skills classes, mentors and events for waiting children, and, most importantly offers them with hope. All proceeds from Grafted sales will go back into the organization to help fund these efforts.
