NASHVILLE, Tenn.—GRAMMY®-nominated Christian music mainstay NewSong is set to star in their debut Christmas DVD and television special, to be filmed Wednesday, November 28 in Nashville.
Free and open to the public, “NewSong’s Very Merry Christmas Live” will begin at 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 5:45 p.m.) at the Trinity Music City Auditorium in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Featuring a guest appearance by Annie Wolaver of the Annie Moses Band, the special is slated to release to retail next fall and will premier on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) later this holiday season.
NewSong will perform selections from their best-selling recordings The Christmas Shoes and The Christmas Hope, including the group’s emotion-packed #1 mainstream radio hit, “The Christmas Shoes,” which has become the biggest song of their career and one of America’s most beloved Christmas standards.
All taping attendees will receive a voucher for one free admission to a Winter Jam 2013 Tour Spectacular date of their choice. Additionally, in the spirit of the season, audience members have an opportunity to bring a canned good for donation to the Nashville Rescue Mission.
