Singer/Songwriter’s Gotee Debut Features Hit Title Cut
NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Holding Nothing Back EP, the Gotee Records debut from acclaimed singer/songwriter Ryan Stevenson, drops digitally today. Produced by Jamie Moore (TobyMac, Andy Grammer), the project is highlighted by the lead single and title cut, which has already reached the Top 30 on the Christian Hot AC/CHR chart.
Connecting with listeners around the country on K-LOVE, The FISH, and other leading radio stations, “Holding Nothing Back” was penned by Stevenson, Moore and Toby McKeehan; produced by Moore; and mixed by Christopher Stevens (Jamie Grace, Sanctus Real). An honest, vulnerable plea for complete surrender to Christ, Stevenson found inspiration for the song following a series of difficult circumstances in his life.

"Ryan is an impressive songwriter who understands the delicate balance of writing songs about his faith and walking it out in a cold, cold world," said TobyMac. "He never shies away from a 'Jesus' lyric, 'cause he is fully aware of where his strength comes from."
The Holding Nothing Back EP also features “The Human Side,” “Lead The Way,” and Stevenson’s special acoustic version of “Speak Life,” a song he co-wrote with McKeehan and Moore, which is the latest single from TobyMac's GRAMMY® Award-winning, best-selling recording Eye On It. Holding Nothing Back EP is available now at iTunes and Amazon, as well as on CD at the Gotee Records official online store.
Stevenson will share songs from the Holding Nothing Back EP as part of the fall leg of Audio Adrenaline’s “Kings & Queens Tour.” Beginning next month, the tour is slated to hit more than 20 cities across the country and will also feature Disciple and Stellar Kart.
After capturing TobyMac’s attention, Stevenson—who spent seven years as a paramedic—was signed to an exclusive recording agreement with the iconic artist’s Gotee Records earlier this year. The Pacific Northwest native is a husband and father of two boys and currently serves as worship leader at Vertical Church Boise.
