Sonicflood to Open the How to Take Back America Conference Friday

SAINT LOUIS, Mo., Sept. 21 -- Sonicflood's lead singer, Rick Heil, will lead the "How to Take Back America" conference in worship this Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26 at the St. Louis Hilton Frontenac.

"It will be clear amidst all the speakers and training, that our focus and our hope is in God," said Janet (Folger) Porter, President of Faith2Action, who is co- chairman of the How to Take Back America Conference with Phyllis Schlafly, President of Eagle Forum, who is hosting the multiple-organization event. Co-hosts include Don Wildmon of the American Family Association, Vic Eliason of VCY America, and Dick Bott of the Bott Radio Network.

Speakers include Governor Mike Huckabee, "Joe the Plumber," U.S. Representatives Michele Bachmann (MN), Trent Franks (AZ), Steve King (IA), Tom McClintock (CA), and Dr. Tom Price (GA), Three-Star General Jerry Boykin, Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel, Dr. Rick Scarborough of Vision America, and pro- family leaders from around the country.

Congressman Trent Franks and Janet Porter will be speaking on the newest approach to fight abortion. "We will present the most effective pro-life tool since the Silent Scream," said Porter. Two dozen workshops will feature such topics as: Socialized Medicine, Marriage, "Global Warming," and the threat from radical Islam, as well as practical how-to workshops on everything from starting a group, to effectively reaching the media, to using the latest technology in the battle to get our country back.
